The design theme this time is "Travel".
Harajuku and Shibuya are the centers of street fashion. Speaking of Tokyo, everyone has passed through Shibuya Scramble Crossing at least once. Even though it's a familiar sight to me, I'm always surprised by the number of people crossing the Shibuya Scramble Crossing. Inspired by the sneaker shop KICKS LAB., I took photos of the feet of people passing through the "world's busiest intersection" with a film camera and reflected them in the design. I heard that many of the customers who visit KICKS LAB. are tourists from overseas, so I think it would be interesting if the instant camera could become a story to tell about their souvenirs.
An interview with Rio Yamamoto, who oversaw the design of the original FUJIFILM Utsurundesu by adidas Originals × KICKS LAB., is also available. We were able to hear some interesting stories about the behind-the-scenes of the production and his own roots.
