KAZZROCK + TABOO1 POP-UP STORE

PROJECT LAB., a new hub for Tokyo sneaker culture proposed by KICKS LAB., a sneaker boutique based in Harajuku, Tokyo, will be opening a joint pop-up store with KAZZROCK, who has been a leader in Japanese graffiti art since the early 1990s, and TABOO1, a graffiti artist who grew up in Shinjuku, Tokyo, and is a member of the Shinjuku-based Japanese rap group MSC, and who is active in the hip-hop unit Il Bros with MC Kan (9SARI GROUP) and DJ BAKU (KAIKOO).

On opening day, we will be welcoming bartender NOB and JUICY BURGER.

■Artists
KAZZROCK
A pioneer and legend in the Japanese graffiti world. Graffiti writer/artist. Born in Tokyo. Began his activities in the early 1990s. Traveled to the US alone and joined the graffiti art group "CBS" in Los Angeles. He became the only Japanese member. After returning to Japan, he was active in a wide range of fields, and in 2015 he held an exhibition of his works in Hong Kong, and in 2019 he held a painting exhibition in Taiwan (exhibited in 10 locations including Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung). He continues to be active in many areas both at home and abroad.

TABOO1
A graffiti artist who grew up in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
In addition to spray painting on walls, he also designs for companies and creates sculptures such as character figurines. In 2019, he released the manga "Il Bros." He is also a member of the Japanese rap group "MSC" based in Shinjuku. He is currently performing in a hip hop unit called Il Bros with MC Kan (9SARI GROUP) and DJ BAKU (KAIKOO).
