To commemorate the publication of the catalogue " exclusive: SNEAKERS IN JAPAN " , which archives sneakers with a connection to Japan , NINETYFIVERS will hold a POP-UP . The book contains approximately 1,500 pairs of archives, dating back to 1995 , when the first domestically-exclusive sneakers and shop-exclusives were released in the Japanese market, and continuing from the 2000s , when manufacturers began to compete to release Japan-planned models and collaborations , to the present day, when the sneaker market has matured . Coincidentally, 1995 , the origin of the sneaker chronology with Japan , is also the birth year of the Nike Air Max 95, which gave NINETYFIVERS its name, so the Nike Air Max 95 will be displayed at the entrance . In addition , the world of " exclusive: SNEAKERS IN JAPAN " will be visually expressed by exhibiting valuable deadstock that colors the history of sneaker culture in Japan .
