KEEN × GRAMICCI NEWPORT RETRO

Gramicci, founded in 1982 by rock climber Mike Graham in California, has teamed up with KEEN, a brand that is committed to not only providing functional shoes, but also to caring about people and the global environment. This is the second collaboration between the two brands.
This time, we used KEEN's hybrid footwear, NEWPORT RETRO, which combines sandals and hiking shoes. Made from hemp material with excellent moisture wicking properties and a worn-in feel, it features Gramicci's iconic stitching, and embodies the same simple and sturdy manufacturing as the long-selling Gramicci Pants.

The footbed is made of EVA that is three-dimensionally molded to fit the shape of the sole of the foot, providing comfortable cushioning. The lightweight, compression-molded EVA midsole is resistant to deterioration and absorbs shock when walking, supporting the burden on the feet. The outsole is made of non-marking rubber that leaves no footprints and has excellent abrasion resistance and grip, and has laser siping that washes away water from the ground, making it an excellent anti-slip shoe. It is perfect for town use as well as the upcoming season when outdoor events are on the rise.
