VANS LX Knu Skool MTE
VANS will release a new collection, IN TRANSIT, by TOKYO DESIGN COLLECTIVE (TDC).
This collection is inspired by retro sports style and features two models that are perfect for winter, with a focus on detail and functionality.
The LX Knu Skool MTE is available in two colors: black and brown. Based on Knu Skool , this is a modern take on the classic early 90s style.
The upper is made of a warm wool blend and leather. In addition, the shoelaces are mixed in color, and the side stripes have a three-dimensional texture, giving the shoe a sense of attention to detail. The Primaloft®️ material is highly insulating, breathable, and lightweight, making it a model that combines design and functionality.
Regarding this collection, TDC Product Design Director Mitsuaki Tanabe commented, "We have expressed a style that combines the mixed sports culture of the late '80s and early '90s with the latest functional materials. While the collection has a strong retro feel, we have continued to develop the collection with a gender-neutral fit and style concept, focusing on materials that are suitable for the holiday season in terms of heat retention and mobility."
