Shoes and sneakers magazine ``SHOES MASTER'' has been published twice a year since its launch in the spring of 2004, at the end of March and the end of September. The special feature of this issue, which is the 39th issue, is titled "Sneaker fever in Southeast Asia" (Part 1), and reports on the forefront of the sneaker scene in Southeast Asian countries, which continue to experience remarkable economic growth. In addition, we will deliver the latest sneaker topics for spring and summer. Total 254 pages.

“Sneaker fever in Southeast Asia Part 1 Indonesia/Thailand”
Southeast Asian countries continue to experience remarkable economic growth. In recent years, street culture centered around fashion has become more popular, and sneaker fever is rapidly increasing. What kind of sneakers are currently popular locally? As sneaker culture in Japan, Europe and America has reached maturity and the market is saturated, what direction will Southeast Asia's culture and market take in the future? Together with Houbun Kojima of Atmos, who operates a local shop, he visits major cities around the world to explore the ongoing ``sneaker craze in Southeast Asia.'' This is the second consecutive issue of this special feature, and the first part features two cities: Jakarta, Indonesia, and Bangkok, Thailand.

Atmos's Houfumi Kojima says, ``Right now, it's no exaggeration to say that the Korean street scene is as exciting as Japan's, and a unique culture is being created.'' In order to confirm the actual situation, I went to the site with Kojima. We interviewed creators and shop owners who lead Korean sneaker culture, as well as sneaker freaks who own vast collections.
``What does it mean to own sneakers now?'' ”
As online services evolve, the meaning of "ownership" is changing. Same goes for sneakers. All kinds of sneakers are now available online, including rare items that are difficult to obtain and vintage items with historical value. If you feel like it (and pay the money), you can have it brought to you at any time. What does it mean to own sneakers these days? Where does the motivation to keep it on hand come from? This is an interview project in which we ask people from all walks of life who love sneakers about the meaning of "owning sneakers."
