OOFOS, a recovery shoe brand, was developed in Cohasset, Massachusetts in 2011 over a period of two and a half years by a veteran team involved in product development for athletes, trainers, and major shoe manufacturers. They realized that although there are many shoes in the world that have a high impact on the soles of the feet, there were no shoes that absorb shock and support recovery, so they created OOFOS and became the pioneers of recovery shoes.
