ASICS SPORTSTYLE GEL-KAYANO 14

The design is based on the "GEL-KAYANO 14," which won the "INTERNATIONAL Editor's Choice" award from the American running magazine "RUNNER'S WORLD" in 2008.
The GEL-KAYANO 14 was designed by Hidenori Yamashita, who replaced Toshikazu Kayano, who had been involved with the GEL-KAYANO series since its inception, and inherited the outstanding functionality and design of previous models while imbuing them with Yamashita's unique sensibility. While incorporating design tastes seen in the 2000s, such as a voluminous silhouette created by distributing appropriate materials according to parts, the GEL-KAYANO series' signature functions and structure were retained, such as the GEL technology in the midsole, which acts as a shock absorber.
