The classic AIR JORDAN 11 was released in 1995 when Michael Jordan returned to the NBA court.
Until then, leather had been the norm for the uppers of basketball shoes, but patent leather and nylon mesh were now used.
Designed by Tinker Hatfield, inspired by the formal looks and fashion that Jordan would occasionally sport, this popular model is highly regarded in the United States as the Jordan brand's masterpiece.
This is the legendary model actually worn by Michael Jordan in the 1996 movie "Space Jam."
The black-based patent leather upper is elegant yet has an overwhelming presence.
The attention to detail, such as the transparent outsole, heel number, and Jumpman logo, are still present.
The shape is said to go well with a tuxedo, making them a pair of shoes that can be easily worn on both special occasions and everyday use.
