OOFOS Oomega

OOFOS is a recovery shoe brand developed in 2011 in Cohasset, Massachusetts, by a veteran team of athletes, trainers, and product developers from major shoe manufacturers, over a period of two and a half years. They realized that while there are many shoes out there that cause a lot of impact on the soles of the feet, there were no shoes designed to absorb shock and aid recovery, so they created OOFOS and became pioneers in recovery shoes. Unlike typical EVA midsoles that are designed to generate forward momentum, OOfoam, a special material used in OOFOS products, reduces impact rebound by 37% and reduces the impact on the soles of the feet when landing. This reduces the strain on the knees, hips, and back, and the ergonomically designed footbed gently wraps around the feet and provides firm support for the arch.
