NIKE AIR MAX 1 '86 OG WHITE/UNIVERSITY RED/LT NEUTRAL GRAY

The Air Max series was created in 1987 by the genius sneaker designer ``TINKER HATFIELD.'' The memorable first model, ``AIR MAX 1,'' is a memorable model that has ``visible air'' embedded inside the heel to make the cushioning visible. The design is inspired by the Pompidou Center in Paris.

This product is a pair that pays homage to the original and is suitable to commemorate the 35th anniversary. When the first "AIR MAX 1" was released on March 26, 1987, a model called "BIG BUBBLE" with a larger visible air window than the current model was mass-produced, and the air unit cracked at low temperatures. Since it became easier to enter, a version with a smaller window was later created and updated. We CT scanned the "BIG BUBBLE" from that time and reproduced the enlarged window using current technology. The upper combines soft suede and mesh panels to recreate the iconic original colors of red, white and gray.
