The ULTIMATE 81 EX is a model created to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the high-spec model ``Ultimate,'' which first appeared in 1981 and was made by combining the technologies of the time.
The visual faithfully reproduces the characteristic design of the time. The toe area has a unique look with the outer sole rolled up. The heel part of the midsole is equipped with a "cush hole" that increases cushioning.
Functional aspects such as materials have been updated with modern updates, such as the midsole "FLYTEFOAM Propel" with excellent cushioning and resilience, and the "fuzeGEL" with shock-absorbing properties. This is an added pair.
