Inspired by the 1990s cushioning technology "TRINOMIC", which is also a PUSH product in the PUMA casual category, the design of TRINOMIC's famous shoes "Blaze Of Glory" and "R698" We have developed an on-court product that is incorporated throughout the upper and is playable.
In addition, by incorporating elements from the aforementioned classic shoes into the details of parts such as the midsole and upper overlay, we have created a product that is not only proposed as a new basketball shoe, but also ties into the larger PUMA brand story.
The midsole is equipped with a newly developed cushioning technology called "Proform" that can bounce back without breaking even if a raw egg is dropped from a height of 1m. Inside the midsole is a shank part that prevents twisting due to the force applied to the shoe when landing or kicking off, ensuring the stability of the shoe itself.
The colors are inspired by "HARAJUKU", which is associated with Japanese subculture, and are designed with fancy colors and bold animal prints.
In the NBA, Kyle Kuzma of the Washington Wizards is scheduled to wear the shoe, and it is a shoe that maintains functionality that can withstand the specifications of NBA players.
