PUMA Clyde, the base of the collaboration, was born when basketball player Walt Clyde Frazier requested a custom-made PUMA suede shoe. Made to fit his legendary, unique style, it would later go down in history as the first signature shoe. Clyde was born in 1973 and will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2023.
