Jeff Staple is a sneakerhead, influencer, designer, entrepreneur, founder and creative director of menswear brand Staple Pigeon, and host of design firm Reed Art Department. In 1997, Staple started business. Jeff Staple's small handmade t-shirt line began to grow rapidly and gain popularity in New York. In the process of building this burgeoning brand, in 2005 Nike commissioned Jeff Staple to create a special commemorative sneaker that represents New York City. Staple Pigeon Dunk SB was devised, and many fans gathered at the time of its release, and not only staples but also sneaker culture became known to many people.
