FOAMPOSITE is a classic shoe from the 90s that was worn by Anfernee Hardaway, who made his mark as a star player for the NBA's Orlando Magic.
This shoe uses the Foamposite method, in which a polyurethane upper wraps around the midsole, and its avant-garde, futuristic design gives it a unique presence that continues to garner a great deal of support today.
This model was produced by DOERNBECHER FREESTYLE, which allows children battling serious illnesses to design sneakers filled with their dreams, hopes and the things they love.
An 11-year-old girl designed it because she wanted to create something that symbolized her family.
The design is inspired by the idea of looking up at a starry sky with your mother, who loves the stars, and is expressed in a fantastical blue color.
The shoes are also filled with her thoughts about the Klamath Tribe, a Native American tribe that inhabits Oregon and is the source of her roots.
