While inheriting the design from the first generation MOAB, we have adopted a design that covers the ankle more than the mid-length type (ankle length) of the regular line, improving support. In addition, the upper is a combination of durable, water-repellent full-grain leather and 100% recycled mesh, and is equipped with Merrell's proprietary moisture-permeable and waterproof membrane. The midsole uses EVA cushioning foam with excellent rebound resilience, Merrell Air Cushion, a proprietary technology that absorbs heel shock and stabilizes walking, and a Lock Plate that protects the foot from thrusts from the ground. This supports smooth and comfortable walking. The outsole uses Merrell's exclusive "Vibram TC5+", which boasts excellent durability and grip in the outdoor field, to demonstrate its power. As a sustainable action promoted by MERRELL, the shoelaces, webbing, lining, and footbed cover are made from 100% recycled materials.
