The AIR JORDAN 1 was born in 1985 as Michael Jordan's first signature model.
It continues to be a hot topic with the release of many limited edition colors and reissues, and is a classic that excites sneaker freaks around the world, regardless of generation.

This model comes in a popular color known as BRED.
At the time of their release, the NBA had a rule that stated that shoes could not be worn in games unless they were 80% white, which came with penalties, so it is a well-known story that Nike had to pay a fine to the NBA after each game so Jordan could wear them.
Nike promoted the shoe with a commercial called "The Shoes Banned by the NBA," commonly known as "BANNED," and it is said that this action garnered support for this legendary shoe, which is now a reissue model.
