The shoe was launched in time for the 2000 Sydney Olympics, and was followed by a series of releases, starting with the SHOX BB4 worn by then US national basketball team player Vince Carter. This model features a cushioning system that generates rebound energy in the shape of a bouncing spring.
This work is a collaboration with "Supreme", a creator of street culture. While retaining a futuristic design, the "SUPREME" logo is placed on the toe. In addition, it is equipped with a Shox cushioning system in the heel and Air Max in the toe, making it a pair of shoes with mechanical functions.
