Jason Mark has developed a water repellent (waterproof) spray that is completely free of PFOA.

PFOA-free Repel creates a durable and breathable barrier that keeps moisture and dirt out. Since it is a water-based product, it can be safely used on absorbent materials such as leather, suede, nubuck, canvas, cotton, nylon, knit, cloth, and mesh. Non-aerosol Repel is an environmentally friendly water repellent spray that is VOC-free and does not contain PFOA, PFAS, or PFCs (organofluorine compounds). While being environmentally friendly, it maintains high water repellency and stain resistance. Better than aerosol waterproofing sprays, it protects large areas quickly and evenly with its continuous spray function and fine mist, without harming the planet. It can be used not only for footwear, but also for hats, bags, apparel, etc.

What is PFOA:
Perfluorooctanoic acid, an organic fluorine compound, is a type of perfluoroalkyl (PFAS) chemical found in everything from furniture to electrical wiring to the nonstick coating on your frying pans. Because PFAS atoms have extremely strong bonds that are difficult to break down, they are said to take decades to be excreted from the body and hundreds of years to disappear from the environment, and are also called "FOREVER CHEMICALS." DIRECTIONS:
Make sure the material is absorbent, clean and dry. Hold the product about 6 inches away from the material and spray it all over until it is fully absorbed. Dripping from overspraying can cause stains. Wipe off excess moisture with a dry towel. Pull the lever continuously to spray continuously. After spraying, allow the material to dry completely. This bottle can be used on up to 24 pairs with one coat. If you want a stronger, longer-lasting water repellent effect, repeat the process again.
*Not recommended for leather that easily stains, such as uncoated leather or tanned leather.

Precautions for use:
